Ikon Gallery app for iPhone and iPad

Ikon is an internationally acclaimed art gallery situated in central Birmingham.

Housed in a magnificent neo-gothic school building, it is an educational charity and works to encourage public engagement with contemporary art through exhibiting new work in a context of debate and participation. It offers free entry to all.

This app has been built by the team at ARTiMBARC, a digital platform aiming to help cultural institutions improve visitor engagement.

The app connects objects in the exhibitions through audio visual narratives and improved wayfinding. It gives visitors a platform from which to donate seamlessly through text.
